A lawsuit was recently filed against our company by the Financial Industry Regulatory
Authority (FINRA). We take these allegations very seriously and believe the suit
is completely without merit. Training Consultants is appalled at the accusations
made in the suit and the reckless disregard for the integrity of our firm, our employee’s
personal privacy, and the significant contributions our founder has made to FINRA
and its predecessors over the years.
For more than 33 years, our company has become a respected institution in the securities
industry led by our founder and president, Tina Leahy. She built the company modeled
on the highest levels of customer service and instruction in the industry and has
earned the regard of firms and brokers throughout the country. Our company's founding
principles are grounded in integrity, trust, and leadership.
In 1986 when FINRA’s (previously NYSE) Series 7 exam was changed to a dynamic test
bank, Tina was invited to be a founding member of the exam committee, volunteering
countless unpaid hours to assist in developing a respected and valid exam. She continued
to serve on this committee for more than 20 years, contributing hundreds questions
for the actual exam and recruiting multiple other individuals to join the committee.
With Tina's leadership, Training Consultants has grown continuously from a small
local firm to a respected national training firm. Over the years we have trained
more than 50,000 individuals to successfully prepare for their careers. As we have
grown, we have continued to invest in technologies and staff to provide our customers
with the highest service levels to firms of all sizes in the industry. At no time
in the company’s history has Training Consultants been involved in any legal disputes.
